• During July and August 2004, a Spanish researcher, Maria Jose Iglesias, from University of Balearic Islands - Center of Law and Computer Studies of the Balearic Islands, is making research at CRID. She is currently preparing a thesis on IP and e-learning.

Description of a research project

CIRB ­ Technology and Security Department

Study on the liability of an Internet Service provider under the legislations on electronic communications, cyber criminality and privacy.

In Mai 2004, the CRID has rendered its final report to the CIRB. The report claims to be practical enough, but it highlights a few more academic questions (for example, the legal status of an Internet Service provider vis-à-vis privacy as it regards to the collect and conservation of identification information with judiciary character ex ante in temporer nos suspecto)
