- As from September, CRID organises, together with the Institut
d'Informatique and ICHEC, a new training course
on Management of Information Security : INFOSAFE.
This training course is directed to senior executives of companies specialised
in data Security. The courses will last 2 1/2 days/month. More information
on www.infosafe.be
- Monica Vilarasau (teacher of law in the UOC (Open University
of Catalonia) will realize a stage at CRID in October. She would like to
focus her research in relation with the legal analysis of the “consent” in
personal data protection area.

New contracts
- The CRID has signed with the Ministry of Communications and Information
of BURKINA FASO a contract of expertise about the drafting
of diverse legislative texts on ICT (Aug. 2007- Jan. 2008).
- Le CRID participe au réseau thématique COMMUNIA sur
le domaine public financé par le programme eContent Plus de la Commission
Européenne.
Le but du projet est de construire un réseau d'organisations qui serait
le point de référence européen pour mener une réflexion
et un action stratégique sur les questions relatives au domaine public
dans l'environnement digital, ainsi que sur des questions liées telles
que les formes alternatives de licences, le libre accès aux publications
scientifiques et les oeuvres orphelines.
