General Information
  • The IP Unit has just got two new contracts:
    • The Projet « O-CELL », funded by the asbl CIGER. The IPR Unit will provide the CIGER with an analysis on the legal framework concerning the use and development of open source solutions by local administrations.
    • And the Project Digital Libraries –CVCE, funded by Le Centre Virtuel de la Connaissance sur l’Europe and concerning a study on the legal issues, in particular the copyright issues and policy, to be taken into account for the development of a digital library.
  • On 16th February, Jean-Philippe MOINY has become a Member and Cristina DOS SANTOS, a Supply Member of the "Re-use of public documents' Section of the Belgian Commission for the Access and the Re-use of public sector information.

  • Prof. KILIAN Wolfgang, FIRILITE Chairman, professor at the Hannover University has visited the CRID, the 2nd and 3rd of March.
  • Since 10th March, the CRID is pleased to host M. SULYOK Marton coming from the Univiersity of Szeged in Hungaria. He has obtain a CGRI grant and he will stay with us 3 months in order to realize his PhD on the topic "e-Governance and fundamental rights".
