  • Yves POULLET has been nominated as expert, member of the scientific Board of the European Privacy Association, a non profit organisation located at Brusssels.
  • Yves POULLET will participate at the kick off meeting of the PRACTIS EU FP 7 research project which will take place at Tel Aviv (Israël).
  • Yves POULLET will participate at the IIId CPDP Conference on Privacy organised at Brussels ( 26 -28/1/2010) jointly by the University of Tilburg, the University of Brussels and the University of Namur. He will chair the panel on the "Future of the Data Protection Directive".
  • Yves POULLET has been invited by the CNIL (the French DPA) for delivering a lesson about the notion of "personal data" under Privacy legislation (Jan. the 7th of 2010).

Intervention by Crid researchers to events as speakers (December 2009)
  • Jean-Marc Van Gyseghem took the floor in the context of the Conference on "Dans une société hyper-contrôlée, que devient la vie privée?" organized by the Ligue des Droits de l'Homme's local section of Namur (December 07th 2009, Saint Servais - Belgium)
  • Yves POULLET as scientific responsible of the Congress has participated in the Conference organized jointly by the "Maison du Droit", the AFPAD and the AUF at HanoÏ. He made a presentation on different topics. So he developed the first day some reflections about the present EU regulatory framework of the Internet and analysed the second day the problems met by Privacy regulations facing TBDF. He addressed final conclusions.
  • Philippe LAURENT has co-organized the EOLE2009 conference (European Open source and free software Law Event), at the European Parliament, on 9 December 2009. During the event, he also made a presentation on "Copyleft" in the "FOSS Terminology" session. More information at http://www.eolevent.eu
  • Florence de Villenfagne gave a 1-day seminar on data protection in EU Agencies, FRONTEX Agency, Warsaw, 7 December 2009.

Lunchtime of the Crid (December 2009)
  • December 4, Professor Michel Arnaud, Director fo the "Centre de Recherche en Information Spécialisée et Médiation des Savoirs (CRIS)" in the Department of the information and communication science of the University of Paris west - Nanterre, gave us a lecture on "Interoperable Fare Management" and in the frame of the "Chaire FIDES" on the numerical identity
