General Information
- Due to Yves POULLET’s recent nomination as the Rector of the University of Namur, Séverine DUSOLLIER takes over the leadership of the CRID.
Professor Séverine DUSOLLIER is a professor at the University of Namur where she namely teaches intellectual property, competition and IT law. She started working as a researcher at the CRID in 1996 and has written many articles and surveys on intellectual property and Internet law, notably for WIPO, the Council of Europe, the European Commission and the Belgian Government.
As the new Head of the CRID, Séverine DUSOLLIER will strive to strengthen the European and international reputation of the CRID and to further innovative fundamental research and critical debate about the social and political challenges of regulating knowledge and information society. Interdisciplinarity as well as international networking and partnerships will be enhanced. We hope that this new direction will be the opportunity to expand or renew our collaboration and develop common projects and research. - Jean HERVEG is member of the Scientific Committee of the 19th World Congress on Medical Law (Brazil - 9-13 August 2012)
