General Information
- Since 15th May, Crid has the pleasure to welcome Mr Paul KIEMDE doctor in political Sciences from the University of Clermont-Férrand (France). He will stay with us till the 30th of June in oder to make some researches about the economic regulation authorities in the UEMOA (Union Economique et Monétaire Ouest Africaine).
- Ms Carmen Plana, doctor in laws of the Murcia University in Spain, is between us since the 1st till the 25th of June in order to lead some researches about Data protection and IPR.

- Yves POULLET was invited by the "Master LUcentinus" (postgraduate programme focusing on IPR and Information Society) to give a speech on "Self-determination in the Information Society", Allicante, 21 May 2010.
- Yves POULLET participated in the international Conference "e-Youth: Risks and opportunities" organized by the University of Antwerpen and made a presentation on "-Youth before its judges" which was the keynote speech, Antwerpen, 27-28 May.

- Yves POULLET was invited by the HEC Lausanne for delivering a lesson about the "Future of Privacy",on May 19. He took this opportunity to discuss with the Board of the postgraduate programme organised by HEC and the Facukty of Law on "Information Systems and Security".
- Florence de VILLENFAGNE gave a session on computer crime in the framework of the INFOSAFE programme (FUNDP-ICHEC), Brussels, 6 May 2010.
- Florence de VILLENFAGNE directed the Liability one-day work shop in the framework of the INFOSAFE programme (FUNDP-ICHEC), Brussels, 7 May 2010.

Sandwich and Research Seminar op the CRID (May 2010)
- Claire GAYREL presented her research on "the attributes of State sovereignty tested by new surveillance technologies". Graduated in European Law and political sciences, Claire Gayrel worked a period for the European Regional Development Found (ERDF) in French Guyana, before joining the CRID in September 2008. Her researches currently focus on transborder data flows and on the protection of personal data in the Justice, liberty and security area of the European Union.
